He lived 4,500 miles away in Europe. Over the last 7 months, we've had three visits together, one being 10 days together in Europe. We've spent at least 2 to 3 hours a day talking on Skype and the messenger, probably more than the average married couple. Recently, he took the jump and moved to live with me. He gave up everything, even crossed oceans. We will be married in Dec. I am 35 and very independent. Sometimes, you just know. People can know each other for 20 years before they marry and end up divorced, or know each other 3 months and spend a life time happy. At the end of the day, you only get one life so live it. Does it really matter when you are 80 years old how many times you've been married? I think what matters is that you were happy, kind, honest and a good person. Do what you want without judging and understand that not every situation falls under you idea of how love should go. In the end, no one makes it out alive anyway. I have a tremdendous amount of respect for the instituition of marriage and I thank my stars every day that Myspace is how I found the guy that finally lives up to my high expectations of how someone should love me and me them. I agree, running off and marrying someone that you've never met, or only known for a weekend is a bit over the top. But hey, it takes all sorts to make the world go round right? I went through dental hell last winter and after seeing several dentists with 0% personality, I found one who seemed honest and attentive and who charged a fair price for the unpleasant task of reconstructing my mouth.
